Work Release enables people the opportunity to serve a sentence while also earning money to be used to pay restitution, courts costs and fines, child support payments and other debts. Work Release also allows people the opportunity to leave the prison for periods of time while they are working, thus lessening the effects of long term incarceration.
Individuals who seek to be considered for Work Release should be screened for the program and make that request at the apprpriate time. Failing to do so can result in the individual being denied for entry into the program. This highlights the need to have the assistance of an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney who can guide you through the process and ensure that opportunities are not lost.
If you are facing a criminal conviction and would like to explore alternatives to serving a sentence of incarceration, please call Scott MacNair or Dan Keane at 215-348-1776 to schedule a free consultation. We look forward to helping you successfully navigate the criminal justice system.
