Ashley C. Garrido
Ashley C. Garrido is an Associate in the firm. Ashley is a magna cum laude graduate of La Salle University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology in 2007 while also playing Division I college soccer. Thereafter, she attended Syracuse University College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2010. She was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 2011 and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2017.
Ashley joined Clemons Richter & Reiss in 2025 and will be focusing her legal practice in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning and Administration as well as Condominium and Community Association Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Ashley worked as an associate attorney in Syracuse, New York practicing in the areas of family law, matrimonial law and criminal law. Her experience includes all procedural stages of litigation such as pleadings, motions, and trials as well as mediation.
She also has extensive experience negotiating and drafting settlement agreements.
Ashley also gained experience in bankruptcy law by working for a Chapter 7 Trustee where she reviewed bankruptcy petitions and schedules, drafted objections, assisted in settlement agreements and recovered preference payments.
While pursuing her Juris Doctor, Ashley explored several different areas of law including internships in criminal law, family law and bankruptcy. Ashley served as a Legal Intern with the Bucks County District Attorney’s office, where she observed and worked with Assistant District Attorneys in preliminary hearings, Summary Appeals and drafting appellate briefs. She participated in the Children’s Rights and Family Law Clinic, where she handled adoptions, child support and custody cases from initial intake through the conclusion of the matter. Additionally, Ashley participated in an externship program as a law clerk with New York Supreme Court Judge Donald. A. Greenwood where she reviewed petitions and motions, drafted opinions, and oversaw all aspects of civil litigation.
Ashley has continued her love of soccer through coaching the next generation. She has been the assistant women’s soccer coach at Lansdale Catholic High School in addition to coaching and managing her children’s soccer teams at the intramural and travel levels.
